A bald eagle, which I'd been shooting moments ago sitting on the end of a large log, flies out over the ocean and then across the Pacific NW trail behind me on Whidbey Island, WA. Texture: Texture Time
This bald eagle has just taken off from the large log jutting into space. After taking some earlier shots, I had my wife slowly walk up the beach until the eagle had enough. Earlier, as we made our way down to trail to the beach, there were six bald eagles hanging out on the beach with a few seagulls. Pacific NW Trail, Whidbey Island
