Found on a sidewalk in Portland, Oregon. Placed a small rock on the paper for an eye.

Found the tree bark on the sidewalk. Rearranged the stringy material a bit to create a second leg and tail. Added teeth, eyes, and antennae from nearby plant parts.

Spotted the orange glove in an alley in Pittsburg. Assembled the other parts from nearby.

Red Reindeer

Today's snowfall brought with it a red reindeer to our balcony. He hung outside for awhile coming inside for some hot cocoa. Snowfall on December 9, 2016. Second floor balcony. Lit with Ice Light.

Found this white plastic in the alley next to the bird poop and rearranged it over the poop. Gathered leaves and a pine cone to create the final scene.

Pine Needle Devil Fish

Found the main body of needles frozen on a basketball court. Added pine cones, more needles, sticks and the snowball eye. Center of the eye painted in.

Made from branches, pine cones, pine needles, leaves and five mushrooms.

Olaf's Spiritual Moment

While in a B&N bookstore I came across Olaf the snowman. At first I searched for a landscape book with a sunrise or sunset picture for Olaf to gaze upon, but instead I found Mona Freeman (1948) dressed in a bathing suit and a fur coat standing on imitation snow. After a few test shots with my phone, I decided to steal away to the back of the bookstore for a few more shots. It was purely by accident that I chose the spiritual section with the "Deliver Us From Evil" book page. Or was it?

Merely a day after completing their sidewalk dream home along 116th street in Kirkland, WA, the Ingalls family home was destroyed overnight by rain and the careless footsteps of giants with dogs. The family vows to rebuild, but in a quieter, less trafficked neighborhood.

Broomhilda

Broomhilda uses her broom-like tail to gather debris, sweeping it into herself in order to grow. During dry windy months, she enjoys tumbling along down the side of the road. If it's wet out, Broomhilda heads into the woods to seek refuge under a tree or stump with a built-in den. Assemblage art from roadside debris and branches.

Made this creature near Crestwoods Park in Forbes Creek, Kirkland, WA. The tongue was a forked stick , but someone added rocks, which I like better. 20' or longer.

Pesky Fly

This photo was the result of walking home from the gym, seeing something stuck under a rock (seen above), and discovering it to be a geocache. There were numerous other objects in the container, but I only needed these three to create the shot. I hope to print out the photo and put it in the geocache container tomorrow.
