Over there...something is lurking, waiting. Approach with caution. Serious risk of injury or even death may occur.
Be afraid, be very afraid of what you cannot see. Evil winds will carry radioactive demons to a neighborhood near you. Government bureaucrats will try to reassure you about today but will be unable to help you fifteen years from now when cancer ravages your body. Picasso, Olive and Haili having fun in the February snow.

A trip to Santa Cruz, CA led to a day at the amusement park where I shot a daylight image of my wife grinning like the gargoyle behind her. Photoshop was used to create a nighttime feel and for teeth sharpening.

A new logo I designed for Bogus Operation (BOP), a personal blogging site (under construction) dedicated to exposing flimflam, con men & women and all sorts of unscrupulous behavior. Based on my wife's input I went with the design on top, but I'm still partial to the BOP! design.

Red-eyed Screamer symbolizes the frustration I feel when I try to force myself to draw and paint in a looser, less detailed manner. Although I've done a couple of portraits in Corel Painter, I keep gravitating towards realism, a sort of non-stop perfectionism. It is time to dabble and play around more with brushes and the energy of big, luscious strokes of digital paint.

The inspiration for this piece began with a snoozing caribou. Landscape from Anakmoon-Stockage. Cloak from DigitalAlchemy-Stock. Caribou from PSC. Apple painted. Assembled in Photoshop.
