After moving into our home (two years ago) I discovered this unlucky frog stuck to the side of the garage door, which met his fate long before we arrived. He is still there — a reminder to us all of the perils in clinging to uncertainty when a door is opened.
The inspiration for "Walking Evy" comes from an ugly wet floor sign (see image below). The tufts of grass, dog legs and dog head, fence, wire towers, distant shapes, and robot wings were all made from the wet floor sign. I added two additional custom shapes from Photoshop: a robot and a dog bone.

An old photo (shot on film) of my youngest son's toys, which I had fun staging for the shoot.The blur was added in Photoshop.
This crazy looking woman was painted in Painter X alongside the source image, with the aid of a grid. It was originally purchased from istockphoto.com and used to create the image below, "Lady Arenal."
In digging through my files I came across, "RUT TV," a logo I created (for fun) a couple years ago. The inspiration came from the launch of Spike TV, an all-men's channel now simply referred to as Spike.
