Ira Spring Trail
Up, up, and up we went a steep Ira Spring trail for nearly three miles with beautiful mountainside scenery. Clouds and fog prevented us from seeing the views we had come for, but it created its own kind of beauty. Mason Lake was nowhere to be found in the thick fog, revealing only it's outer edges. In some ways the hike back was tougher going down than up. It felt like we were doing mini lunges the whole way. Everyone, including Olive, was exhausted and sore the next day. Let's do it again!
